Shoma Group is launching sales of Shoma Bay, a 21-story mixed-use project with 327 condos and 6,315 square feet of retail space including a rooftop lounge and a Shoma Bazaar food hall on a 2.8-acre property. The developer is pivoting plans from apartments to condos at the site in North Bay Village which is set to witness a wave of new development over the coming months, with several nearby sites being sold recently and new residential and mixed-use projects planned in the village’s pipeline. Shoma Bay is located on the corner of the 79th Street Causeway and East Treasure Drive in proximity to nearby shopping, dining and schools, enjoying direct access to the main highway connecting North Bay Village to Miami Beach and the MiMo District.
Shoma Bay will offer luxury apartments ranging from 324-square-foot furnished micro studios to 1,435-square-foot three-bedroom units with sleek and attractive finishes, modern appliances, and water views of Biscayne Bay. Residents can enjoy an array of resort-style amenities, including a 6,030-square-foot waterfront pool deck overlooking Biscayne Bay with a pool, cabanas and summer kitchen, a resident lounge and bar, spa, fitness center, and kids club. Shoma Bay also offers a library, a 2,600-square-foot business lounge for co-working, a sky lounge with a bar and areas for games and movies, and a dog spa. Residents will also have assigned gated parking, electric vehicle charging stations, a designated bike room, and storage spaces. The average price per foot for all units is about $900 with prices starting in the $400,000s. Construction is expected to begin next year and the building could be completed in late 2024.
