The Standard Residences in Midtown Miami recently held a groundbreaking ceremony, marking the hotel brand's first standalone residential project. The development will include 228 residential condo units, 11,000 square feet of retail space, and 34,000 square feet of amenity space, including a rooftop lounge. Developer Carlos Rosso reports that the project has seen rapid pre-construction sales, with over 80% of units sold. Buyers will be permitted to rent their units for a minimum of one month at a time.

Arquitectonica will serve as the architect, with interiors by Urban Robot. Standard International, Rosso Development, and Midtown Development are the developers. Completion of the project is scheduled for the end of 2024.

The Standard Residences will be located in the walkable neighborhood of Midtown Miami, between the Design District and Wynwood. 

This area is known for its walkability and its mix of residential and commercial buildings. Midtown Miami is home to numerous art galleries, restaurants, boutiques, and cafes, making it a hub for arts and culture in the city. The area is also in close proximity to some of Miami's top attractions, including the Wynwood Walls, the Perez Art Museum, and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.

In recent years, Midtown Miami has undergone significant redevelopment, with new high-rise residential buildings, office towers, and retail spaces. The Standard Residences will be situated in the heart of this vibrant neighborhood, offering residents easy access to all that Midtown has to offer.

 The building will feature 12 stories and 228 residences ranging from studios to two bedrooms, with interiors designed to balance style and functionality. Amenities will include an expansive lobby, café, outdoor terrace, indoor pickleball court, state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, and a social floor with a karaoke bar and screening room, among others. The lush rooftop will feature a 60-foot resort-style pool and a signature restaurant and bar.
