Lefferts, a NYC and Miami-based development firm, has unveiled 72 Park, a luxury condominium tower approved for short-term rentals in Miami Beach. Set to be completed in early 2024, it will be the first luxury tower in Miami Beach to allow vacation rentals. The tower will offer 206 units ranging from 470 to 1,177 square feet, with prices starting from the $700,000s.
Located at 580 72nd St., just south of Surfside, this stunning 22-story project by Built Form, a national architecture firm, is centrally situated in a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood. It provides residents and guests with the best of both worlds: a peaceful, charming beachside community and the excitement of Miami Beach with easy access to recreation, dining, retail, music, arts, and culture. The luxury tower will offer breathtaking 360-degree views, stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and Downtown Miami.
Conveniently located on the park, just steps away from the beach, 72 Park is surrounded by various amenities and attractions. These include the Miami Beach Tennis Academy, North Shore Park (featuring sports and recreation facilities), the Miami Beach Bandshell outdoor amphitheater, a historic cultural center, Normandy Shores Golf Club, and the new Miami Beach Aquatic Center and Park. Urban Robots Associates is responsible for designing the interiors and landscapes of the LEED Gold-certified tower. The units will include junior, one-, two-, and three-bedroom options, combining luxury and style with spacious floor plans, high ceilings, deep balconies, Italian cabinetry, imported stone, and energy-efficient appliances. Each unit will be fully furnished and feature floor-to-ceiling, impact-resistant glass, keyless entry with SALTO and smart access controls, individually controlled and energy-efficient central AC and heating systems, and premium bathroom fixtures and accessories. Advanced smart building features will include high-speed, fiber-optic Wi-Fi access and five high-speed passenger elevators with access control.
The property will offer an array of luxurious amenities across 64,000 square feet. The expansive amenity deck, spanning 35,000 square feet and adorned with tropical landscaping, will boast a resort-style pool, cabanas, a bar and lounge with indoor-outdoor seating, a state-of-the-art fitness center with a yoga lounge, a 24/7 coworking lounge, a kids' playroom, a private outdoor barbecue area, a rooftop sun deck with dining areas and grills, and an outdoor screening area for movie nights and sporting events.
