Updated plans have been revealed for HUB Miami, a 41-story mixed-use tower planned for 525 NW 2nd Avenue in Downtown Miami. Led by developers The John Buck Company, Florida Value Partners, BH Group, and PEBB Enterprises, the project is designed by ODP Architecture & Design with interiors by One Line Design Studio.
At 727,726 square feet, HUB Miami will feature 306 condominiums, 245,000 square feet of Class-A office space, over 7,000 square feet of retail, and integrated parking. Significant changes have been made to the facade and interior designs.
Notably, horizontal glass bands now extend from the tower down to the ground floor, accentuating the building's connectivity. Previously obscuring mesh has been replaced with glass, lending coherence. White bands now only span the superstructure perimeter for a cleaner look.
Additional modifications include repositioned white podium bands, a more pronounced division between residential and office components, and adjusted window types.
These design updates breathe new life into the long-vacant site. Demolition of existing remnants is planned before 2023's end to pave way for construction.
HUB Miami will feature luxury condominium residences from the 22nd floor up, including studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts with modern finishes and amenity access.
Office space spans 18,000-32,000 square feet to accommodate a variety of tenants, who will enjoy fitness facilities, lounges and conferencing amenities.
Currently, demolition and full construction permits are under revision following corrections submitted last month. This signals advancement for the transformative Downtown Miami development.
