Naftali Group has officially commenced construction on JEM Private Residences, a towering 67-story condominium development situated at 1016 Northeast 2nd Avenue in Miami Worldcenter. The building, designed by Miami’s Arquitectonica and New York City’s Rockwell Group, is set to stand over 700 feet tall, housing 259 condo units on the upper levels, 530 multi-family units on the lower levels, commercial space on the ground floor, and 591 parking spaces. The project transitioned from market entry to construction initiation in less than five months, setting a record pace for South Florida. This significant step marks Naftali Group’s expansion into Florida, with JEM Private Residences poised to redefine quality standards in the region. OneWorld Properties is the exclusive brokerage, with Coastal Construction serving as the general contractor, DeSimone Consulting Engineering as the structural engineer, and MG Engineering D.P.C. as the MEP engineer.
On April 6, Naftali Group hosted a memorable groundbreaking ceremony for JEM Private Residences. The event, marked by craft cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a preview of the development, culminated in a ceremonial shovel dig, signifying the official start of the project. Construction is slated for completion in 2027.
Miki Naftali, Chairman and CEO of Naftali Group, expressed pride in reaching the groundbreaking milestone for JEM Private Residences in a record timeframe for Miami. He highlighted Miami Worldcenter as one of the region’s few truly walkable neighborhoods, offering residents easy access to premier dining, entertainment, and leisure activities.
