Construction Completed: Aston Martin Residences, a New Icon in Downtown Miami

May 24, 2024

The skyline of Downtown Miami has been transformed with the completion of the Aston Martin Residences, a 66-story residential tower located at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way. Nestled at the confluence of the Miami River, this significant achievement was commemorated with a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony graced by the Coto family, executives from Aston Martin, Buenos Aires-based architect Rodolfo Miani of Bodas Miani Anger, and Miami’s Mayor, Francis Suarez. This event signifies the successful conclusion of nearly ten years of development, with the tower now officially inaugurated and home to 391 condominiums. The projected sellout value surpasses an impressive $1 billion.

Standing tall at 817 feet, the tower holds the distinction of being the highest all-residential skyscraper south of New York City. It represents the growing trend of branded condominiums in South Florida and made its debut just before the Formula One Miami Grand Prix. It is the first-ever residential building globally to bear the Aston Martin brand, joining the ranks of other automotive-branded properties in the region.

The architectural design of the Aston Martin Residences is a reflection of the aerodynamic aesthetics associated with the luxury car brand. The 66-story building, characterized by its sail-like silhouette, features a sleek, glass-clad facade that mirrors the waters of Biscayne Bay, thereby enhancing its visual harmony with the maritime surroundings. The interiors are crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail, boasting wood paneling and marble surfaces that echo the luxury of an Aston Martin vehicle. Custom scents, a signature feature in Aston Martin’s showrooms, infuse the common spaces, adding an additional touch of brand-specific opulence.

The building has started closing deals, with almost all units already presold. The only unit left is an extravagant 27,000-square-foot triplex penthouse, listed at a staggering $59 million. Since its inception in 2016, the project has been led by G&G Business Development, owned by the Coto family. The property, acquired in 2014 for a record-breaking $125 million from developers Ugo Colombo and Diego Lowenstein, embodies Aston Martin’s dedication to luxury and design, offering amenities such as an art gallery, movie theater, lounges for children and teens, a fitness center, spa, indoor and outdoor pools on the 55th floor, and a superyacht marina.
