Construction is officially underway for Ella Miami Beach, a 10-story boutique condominium featuring 103 units approved for short-term rental. The project is located at 6940 Abbott Avenue in North Beach and is developed by Constellation Group and The Boschetti Group. The project aims to provide a contemporary interpretation of Miami Beach's Art Deco heritage while enhancing the area's luxury residential offerings.
Designed by Arquitectonica, the building showcases a modern take on Miami Beach's architectural legacy, characterized by clean lines, spacious terraces, and a strong emphasis on indoor-outdoor living. The project has seen strong early demand, with over 50% of units sold before groundbreaking. Completion is anticipated for 2026.
“Breaking ground on Ella Miami Beach is not just the start of construction; it signifies the realization of our team's vision,” said Eduardo Otaola, Managing Principal of Constellation Group. “Ella is more than just a residential condo project; it pays homage to Miami Beach's rich architectural heritage and vibrant character.”
Residences will include studio, one-, and two-bedroom layouts, ranging from 342 to 1,089 square feet, with prices starting in the $500,000s—an accessible price point compared to many new developments in Miami Beach, where prices typically exceed $1 million. Each unit will feature 9-foot-high ceilings, ItalKraft kitchens with stone countertops and JennAir appliances, along with European-inspired designer closets. Select residences will offer views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Miami skyline.
Amenities will include a rooftop pool, fitness center, pickleball court, residents' lounge, outdoor dining areas, and an observation deck. Wellness-focused amenities such as an outdoor yoga and meditation deck, cold plunge, and sauna will also be available. Residents will have access to a private beach club operated by The Boucher Brothers, along with additional conveniences including short-term rental options managed by Nomada, coworking spaces, complimentary beach cruisers, and on-site parking.
Designed to reflect the area’s mid-century modern heritage, the building features a nautical-inspired façade with curved lines, referencing both the architectural history of Bay Harbor Islands and the yachts that line the Indian Creek waterway. Construction is on track for completion by the end of 2025.
