Construction continues to move forward at JEM Private Residences, a 67-story luxury condominium tower rising at 1016 Northeast 2nd Avenue in the heart of Downtown Miami. The project has officially completed its massive foundation pour—an 18-hour operation that began on May 30 at 9:00 p.m. and involved 8,400 cubic yards of concrete delivered by 840 truckloads. Overseen by Coastal Construction, the milestone marks a key turning point in the vertical construction phase of one of the most prominent residential towers within the Miami Worldcenter development.
JEM Private Residences is part of the evolving identity of Downtown Miami, a neighborhood rapidly transforming into a high-density, mixed-use destination. Once primarily known as Miami’s financial and civic core, Downtown has become a vibrant urban hub with luxury residential towers, upscale retail, entertainment venues, and easy access to regional transit via the Brightline and Metrorail. JEM is positioned within Miami Worldcenter, a $6 billion, 27-acre master-planned community that integrates high-rise living with parks, shopping, dining, and cultural amenities just steps from the waterfront.
The tower, designed by Arquitectonica, rises over 700 feet and will ultimately house 278 luxury condominiums from the 43rd floor upward. The units will feature wraparound terraces and panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, the Downtown skyline, and Miami Beach. Interiors are curated by Rockwell Group, and landscaping is led by ESDA.
JEM’s amenities are designed to reflect a resort-inspired lifestyle. Occupying the entire 50th floor, the amenity collection includes a Sky Lounge, a 60-foot outdoor pool, boxing arena, yoga patio, and a full spa suite with a steam room, a Himalayan salt room, and sauna.
