1428 Brickell in Miami Installs Tower Crane as 70-Story Condo Rises

July 15, 2025

Vertical construction continues at 1428 Brickell, where the first tower crane has now been installed to support the rise of the 70-story luxury condominium tower. Once fully assembled, the cranes will reach heights exceeding 1,000 feet, enabling the next phase of the tower’s upward progress in the heart of Miami’s financial district.

Planned to stand 861 feet tall upon completion, 1428 Brickell will rank among the tallest residential buildings in the city. The development will comprise 195 luxury residences and is distinguished by its focus on sustainability and innovation. A defining architectural feature of the tower includes 20,000 square feet of photovoltaic glass panels integrated directly into the façade, which are expected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 4,700 tons annually.

The tower is situated along Brickell Avenue, one of Miami’s most vibrant real estate corridors, and represents a new benchmark for high-performance, environmentally conscious design in the residential sector.

Completion is anticipated by 2027.
