Downtown Miami Supertall Waldorf Astoria Hits Halfway Mark

December 17, 2025

Property Markets Group (PMG) has announced a major construction milestone for the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami at 300 Biscayne Boulevard. Miami’s first supertall tower has completed the concrete pour for its 50th level, marking the halfway point of vertical construction for the planned 100-story, 1,049-foot structure. Once completed, it will become the tallest residential building south of New York City.

Designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with Carlos Ott, the tower is composed of nine offset glass cubes arranged in a spiraling vertical formation, creating a distinct silhouette in the Miami skyline. Rising at an average rate of one floor every 10 days, four of the nine cubes are now visible. This structure is rising dramatically higher than the surrounding buildings; for context, the nearby Vizcayne towers stand at 49 stories and 538 feet.

The project is situated on a prominent waterfront site adjacent to Bayfront Park. It will feature 387 private residences and 205 hotel rooms managed by Hilton Management Services. The development is reporting immense market success, with the project now more than 90 percent sold, and limited availability remaining in the Sky and Penthouse Collection.

Hotel guests and residents will enjoy world-class amenities, including the famous Peacock Alley, a specialty restaurant, a resort-style pool deck with cabanas, and a holistic wellness spa and fitness center. Based on the current pace, the tower is expected to top off in late 2026 or early 2027, with overall completion targeted for 2028.
