Construction has officially begun on PALMA Miami Beach Residences, a 14-story luxury condominium at 600 71st Street in the North Beach neighborhood. Developed by Lefferts and designed by Built Form, the 126-unit residential building celebrated its groundbreaking on December 16, marking a significant step in the area’s transformation. The project is slated for completion in late 2027.
The development has seen an overwhelming market response, with 50% of the residences already sold. Sales are being driven primarily by international buyers from South America (64%), followed by domestic purchasers. A key draw for investors is the building's lack of rental restrictions, allowing for maximum flexibility. Residences are fully furnished and priced from the $650,000s.
PALMA features one- and two-bedroom homes with high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, and Bosch appliances. The project features over 10,000 square feet of amenities, designed by Studio Ramirez, including a resort-style pool deck, a wellness hot tub, a cold plunge, and a Technogym fitness center. The ground floor will also feature 8,500 square feet of retail space, enhancing the walkable North Beach district.
PALMA is the second of three projects led by Lefferts in North Beach, representing a total investment of $730 million in the neighborhood. Following the success of 72 Park, PALMA continues the firm’s vision of delivering lifestyle-driven homes that honor the character of this vibrant coastal community.
